Learnly AI (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered Maths practice service for Australian primary school students. We take your family's privacy seriously and handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. What data we collect

We collect:

• Parent/guardian account: name, email address, and a password (stored only as a securely hashed value — never in plain text).
• Child profile & learning data:the child's first name, year level, practice attempts and answers, scores and accuracy, and the results of AI mistake diagnosis.

2. How we use your data

• To provide personalised learning — selecting practice questions matched to each child's strengths and weaknesses.
• To generate the weekly parent report.
• To improve the quality and accuracy of our AI models.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate Learnly AI. Some process data on servers located outside Australia; where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information.

• DeepSeek API — AI mistake diagnosis and report generation. Servers may be located outside Australia.
• Vercel — application hosting (servers in the USA).
• Railway — database hosting (servers in the USA).
• Stripe — subscription payments (servers in the USA).

4. Children's privacy

Accounts are created and controlled by a parent or guardian. We do not sell children's data, and we do notshare children's personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. The service providers listed above process data only to deliver the service.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your family's personal information at any time by contacting us.
